Tanja first started in the health industry working as a Research Assistant at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital after completing her Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) at the University of Western Australia in 2006.
She then worked in both public and private practice as a Sleep Technician, dealing with sleep disorders.
In 2009, Tanja went on to commence a double degree in Chiropractic at Murdoch University, graduating with distinction and receiving the Vice Chancellors Award for Academic Excellence and ACA (Australian Chiropractic Association) Graduate Chiropractor of the Year Award.
Tanja has a strong interest in sports chiropractic, working previously as a sports trainer for several football clubs and she frequently volunteers her time and chiropractic skills at various sporting events including the Rottnest Channel Swim, TennisWest tournaments and triathalons.
Her motivation is helping people get the most out of their body, restoring functional movement and controlling pain through evidence-based chiropractic care, soft tissue techniques, education and exercise. She treats all musculoskeletal conditions from head to toe.
She is also a mum of two and understands how the female body changes pre and post pregnancy and hopes to empower other females during these stages of life.
When she's not in the office you can find Tanja practising what she preaches- exercising in the gym or outdoors with her kids, and on the weekends exploring new cafes and restaurants with her family.
