INITIAL CONSULTATION

At your first appointment at Good Move Chiropractic a thorough history of your body and your presenting problem will be taken. We address the body as a whole. In this initial consult we will assess if any further imaging (e.g. x-rays), testing or referral will be needed. Your first visit will last around 40 minutes and will more often than not include a short treatment.

Some of the conditions we treat include:

Neck Pain - Headaches - Back Pain - Hip/Leg/Knee/Foot Pain - Shoulder/Elbow/Arm Pain - Sports Injuries - Sciatica - Nerve Pain- Muscle Spasm - Joint Pain - Disc Injuries

TREATMENT VISITS

Our chiropractic treatments are "hands-on" and we will focus not only on the site of pain, but treat the body as a whole to help it to move and function at it's best so as to prevent future problems. We tailor each treatment specifically to your condition and a usual treatment will include hands on therapy, education and exercises to prevent future reoccurrence of the issue.

Our treatment times are typically longer than those offered by traditional chiropractors. This is because we treat slightly differently to other chiropractors. We incorporate soft tissue release techniques along with our adjustments and always suggest tailored exercises and advice in order to adequately address your goals such as increased mobility or pain relief.
Treatment visits are 20 minutes.

Treatment options include:
  • Adjustments
  • Mobilisations
  • Low force techniques including drop piece, biomechanical blocking or flexion-distraction
  • Dry Needling
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Trigger Point Therapy
  • Sports Taping
  • Specific Rehabilitation Exercises
